Xvi, 889 pp. Chronological table, bibliography, index. 9 maps, 12 text figures. Large octavo. Dark orange hard cloth binding with bright gilt to spine. Back cover has a small bump and some scuffs. Interior has small owner name in pen on first free end paper, small smudge on contents page and 5 ink check marks on page ix of the contents and ink underlining and check marks in the section Syriac and Greek Culture (Chapter 23a) , otherwise clean and nice. Still quite usable but reduced price due to these flaws. ; Cambridge Ancient History; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 889 pages .
