Bible black end papers, xvi + 234 pp Five maps as called for.1885. One of a series of five books on Napoleons Campaigns.NB. Text in French with English notes. Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. Good (Book- significant browning to spine with moderate shelf wear - principally to head and tail, some general shelf soiling, end papers and binding sound. Some rusting of the staples employed to fasten the signatures to the cloth back strip evident in gutter. Not one of the best forms of binding invented in the course of mechanisation of book production. A few occassional mainly pencil notes/ marks made in the course of reading including to maps. Previous owner name in pencil to reverse of front free end paper and also lightly to closed fore edge of book block).
