First Edition. 383 pages with Index; illustrated with 4 maps (3 folding, 2 in color, the fold-out Canadian Pacific Railway map at rear is not called for in plate list) and 32 b&w plates (including tissue-protected frontis). Considered to be one of the most interesting accounts of Canadian mountain exploration and climbing. Provenance: armorial bookplate of William C. Ferguson on front pastedown. Some light general wear to exterior and typical scattered foxing. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good. Octavo.
