A chapbook edition of two anonymous poems; the first a romantic ballad of courtship played out in Scotland's capital, the second a Scots dialect celebration of British Army officer Sir John Cope's (1690-1760) defeat the Battle of Prestonpans, the first significant engagement of the Jacobite rising of 1745. . 8vo.
