New York: D. Appleton, 1903. Limited ed. vellum. Near Fine. Royal octavo in three quarter japon vellum, spine lettered in gilt, over light grey paper covered boards. Top edge gilr, other edges uncut. Frontis portrait engraving of Frank Stockton signed in pencil by the artist Jacques Reich and with a cut signature of Frank R. Stockton tipped onto the bottom of the frontis. xxxii pp. Memorial Sketch of the author by his wife and signed "Marian E. Stockton" at its conclusion. 359 pp. plus Bibliographical list of The Writings Of Mr. Stockton. A tight, internally bright example, some spoting to the spine strip and a touch og toning to the paper of the boards.
