About This Item

London: Collins. Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. 1983. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. 0001841351 . Red cloth-covered boards with bright gilt titling to the spine. Some very Iight 'bumping' to the head/tail of the spine - just from storage - negligible, no damage. In the original publisher's full colour pictorial dust-jacket. A near fine clean tight book in a near fine unclipped dust-jacket, the d/j is in a protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and the book looks near As New. The page fore-edges are very clean but printed on 2 or 3 different paper batches, as the centre block is very slightly darker than the two either side, all fairly negligible, and with NO spots or marks, or similar - VERY clean. Internally excellent, with NO Inscriptions or Marks. Looks unread. 139 pp. Charmingly Illustrated by Vanessa Julian-Ottie throughout in b/w. A delightful story for readers of 7-10 written by the author of the well-loved Paddington books, featuring Susan and Jeremy, their neighbour Mr Briggs, an old Gypsy Caravan, and 6 puppets, including Elmer G. Knickerbocker, the mouse puppet. See Images. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
