INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR ON THE DEDICTION PAGE TO THE DEDICATEE, historian Allan G. Bogue, with Bogue's signature inside the front cover, unique thus; Bogue directed the seminars which shaped the author's early research. Stated first edition (first printing). Hardcover, full brown cloth, black & gilt titling. Light wear to book, hinges a little tender; jacket shows light edgewear, spiune slightly tanned, couple of tiny stains to rear panel. Text clean; [12], 386, x pages + colophon & note on the author; index, appendixes on the Elkins-McKitrick Thesis and the author's methodology; maps, b/w plates.. Inscribed by the Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. Large Octavo.
