Delhi: Hindustan Publishing Corporation, 1975. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. 1975 Hardcover reprint of the original 1939 edition. Original light brown cloth with blue decoration front, black lettering front & spine, original brown EPs. The book is in nice condition but is likely a former library book since there is trace of removed tape around bottom of spine, a blotted-out stamp or name along front fore-edge of text block, no other library marks and no traces of removed marks (clean title page front and back, no EP pockets or bookplates, no library marks on any pages or photo plates, no library mark on folding map. The covers are relatively clean and not faded, solid binding, no foxing, complete with all pages, all photo plates, all maps (NOTE: to reduce cost of production this reprint did not reproduce the generalized section in color that is indicated on the title page). The book measures 248mm tall x 188mm, and has 245 + [2] pages + 26 b/w plates containing 86 photos and 9 peak diagrams (several folding), folding map, 162 b/w figures in the text.
