Alfred A Knopf, 1955. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. 1955. First Edition. 363 pages. Colourful jacket over blue cloth. Pages are lightly tanned, heavier to endpapers, but text remains clear. A few pencil marks throughout. Binding is firm. Boards and spine have minimal shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and crushing to ends. Spine is slightly sunned. Noticeable marks to boards. Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine have moderate edgewear, with noticeable chipping, tearing and creasing, and small areas of loss. Visible water stain to top edge of front panel.
