About This Item

UK: Hutchinson, 2005. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Charles the Great ( 742-814) towers over every notion we have of national heroes and semi-mythical champions. Charlemagne - Man, Monarch and Myth - is, indeed, ' a great adventure ', To enter into this adventure is to understand more fully the Europe of which we are part. The book block and leaves are tanned. A good, tight copy..
