An insert has been glued to front blank endpaper - looks like it might have been a publishers ad. Information repeats that about author on dj flap but includes size and pricing info for book. 286 pages with photos and timetables - underlining and notes in pencil throughout. Previous owner name on title page. DJ has original price of $4.90 of flap, closed tears and chips - sun-faded. Protected from further damage in clean brodart jacket. Front dj illustration is photo of a trainyard - upper LH corner under title shows sketch of a sleeping cat. This profusely illustrated book is the comprehesive history of the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company.. Illus. by photographs. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Good.
