Quarto (over 10 - 12 inches tall). , 426 pages, illustrated throughout with vignette wood cuts including a vignette title page, illustrated dust wrapper is bound in between endpapers and half title page, all text in French , half brown calf with marbled paper to sides, 4 raised bands with ornate gilt decoration and title to spine, gilt rulings to leather of covers, top edges gilt, ribbon marker, marbled endpapers
