Boston: D. Lothrop and Co., 1879. First edition 1879. Christmas themed children's book illustrated with engravings. Green cloth printed in gilt and silver gilt, 322 pages plus eight pages of publisher's ads. Fair to good condition, covers rubbed, mainly at the extremities, rear hinge internally reglued and secure, text block sound, some very minor margin closed tears and a small chip to the page 107/108 that results in loss of one word, name and address in pencil and another in ink along with a tiny plain sticker with typed initials on the front free endpaper, pages otherwise clean and unmarked.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
