Illustrated through with line-drawn, pencil and crayon coloured pictures. Some wear to corners. Merula Salaman was better known in later life as Lady Guinness wife of actor Sir Alec Guinness. She had an early career as an actress herself & was known for her stitch-work pictures & paintings. This was written when their son was still young & living in London.
