New York: Alfred A. Knopf. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 1956. First Edition. Hardcover. 182 p. 20.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Fore-corners are lightly bumped. Light wear to the spine ends. Top edge of the text block is foxed. Previous owner's name and bookplate on the front free endpaper. Endpapers have a little toning. Inside pages are clean and unmarked overall, with slight toning. Dust jacket is foxed and soiled on the rear panel. Edge and corner wear includes some chips, tears and creases. Reverse side is foxed. Not price clipped. A children's adventure story about two teenagers who accompany their prospector uncle as he searches for uranium on the Colorado Plateau and has to deal with some claim-jumpers. Black and white illustrations. .
