About This Item
England: Methuen & co, 1944. Book. Illus. by W Lindsay Gable. Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. Book is faded to spine and bumped to corners, name in ink to back of front board, a little marked to endpapers. Unclipped jacket looks ok in the new jacket protector but is completely trashed. 30% of the spine paper is missing, the jacket is in 2 halves , evidence of extensive tape repairs (Especially to back panel) and has lots of tears and small losses. Jacket pieces have been reassembled inside the jacket protector (Quite challenging) which holds all the pieces and folded rips in position. 90% of the jacket is there and the front panel presents quite well.
