History of the Indianapolis Carmelites including their changes after Vatican II Signed on title page by author. The monastery was disbanded with the nuns ending their years at the Franciscan Motherhouse at Oldenburg, Indiana. The monastery became a minor seminary for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. Another, more traditional Carmelite Monastery was formed as an offshoot at Terre Haute, Indiana, in the 1950's and still exists..
