About This Item
Sydney: New Century Press (Printer), 1940. 1st ed.. Paperback small trade, good condition, stapled pamphlet, illustrated card covers, staples rusted, edges foxed, covers little faded, pages lightly toned, spine faded, top spine toned (affects first few pages), corners front cover creased, some edgewear, non-author written dedication front flyleaf. 30 pp. These humorous poems feature our koala as the soldiers. At the end there is a poem about the meaning of 'cobber', and a glossary explaining the words in the poems. A very funny little book about a time, middle of World War 2, when every Australian needed a little light humour.
