Reviews
On Jan 18 2016, a reader said:
"Cold Sassy Tree" has a beauty in it that's truly endearing and moving. It is honest, heartfelt, witty, funny, and mostly nostalgic (for me at least). It takes place in small town Cold Sassy Tree where a scandal turns the lives of Will Tweedy, the narrator, and his family upside-down. As you follow his adventures and hear his take of happenings in his family and around town, you'll find yourself drawn to his stories like how some might find themselves drawn to a lava lamp. The story can be slow moving but it is worth your while. The best way I can describe my feelings toward reading Cold Sassy Tree is by envisioning how it would feel like if I had ever met my grandma and how she and I would sit in a quiet living room while I would listen to her tell stories of her childhood. If that is your cup of tea then you will enjoy Cold Sassy Tree.
