London: Bradbury, Evans, and Co. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. John Leech. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. No date [circa 1850]. Bound in green morocco with gilt to front board & to spine. Gilt to all page edges. Illustrated throughout in black & white, & with hand coloured illustrated plates. One plate is missing pg. 138. Wear to outer extremities; some rubbing to gilt on front board & spine. Pages are age darkened with some intermittent soiling, foxing toward boards, some rippling to pastedowns. A punctured tear to the first free endpage has been neatly repaired. Previous owner's signature to the upper first free endpage.
