About This Item

Garden City, NY Doubleday , 1964. Hardcover First Edition (1964), so stated. First Edition (1964), so stated. Very Near Fine in Good+ DJ: The Book shows only a hint of shelving wear to the lower extremities; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of any underlining, hi-lighting or marginalia or marks in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tighly bound, showing only an unobtrusive flaw. Bright and clean. Corners sharp. Very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows considerable rubbing and faint, but pervasive soiling to the panels; moderate wear to the extremities, with several tiny nicks and tears; the price has been clipped. The words "Printed in the USA" at the bottom of the rear flap and the exagerated price clip may indicate that this is a Book-Club edition, but there is no mark or impression on the book itself that would indicate this. NOT a Remainder or Ex-Library. 8vo. (8.5 x 5.75 x 1 inches). ix, 273 pages. Language: English. Weight: 15.5 ounces. Deckle Fore-Edge. Hardback with DJ.
