Neat previous owner name to the top of the front blank free endpaper and a neat 4 line inscription on the verso of the same leaf. Some sporadic foxing throughout and a few pages with neat pencil underlining (which could be easily erased if desired) otherwise a very good copy in publishers dark blue cloth with the spine lettered in gilt. Boards with single blind ruled border lines. Spine has a few small white marks to the cloth and the book is a bit rubbed and bumped to the edges but Overall this is a very good copy of Russell's third book. Only 1500 copies were published.

The dust jacket is NOT price clipped and has about a one inch loss at the upper right hand corner of the front cover with a though bit of shelf wear and tiny loss here and there on edges and at center cover and spine ends and at tips. The reason this is a third printing is that the dust jacket cover says "Third Printing...15,000." Looks dashing in its shiny new plastic cover. .
