Illustrated dust jacket with minor wear and soiling. Illustrations from photos. Sketch maps. Overall a very nice clean attractive copy of the book. Neate 802. Autobiography of a French climber killed in a climbing accident whose conquests included Annapurna, Fitzroy, Makalu, Jannu and the Eigerwand. A wonderful copy that belonged to the notable Steve Fossett with his adventure bookplate. 1963
