In this volume he suggests that sin is the cause of all suffering, and he offers Scriptural support and consolation for those thusly afflicted. Gilt lettering to brown cloth, 162 pages, including eight pages of advertisements for other Religious Tract Society titles. Bent/moderately worn corners, moderate edgewear all around, dusty/lightly soiled edges, 3/4" scrape/fraying to right edge of front cover, spine slant, wear to spine ends, gilt title/author on spine mostly worn away, light cover soil..
