Much of the book has damp staining - gladly the stains generally do not touch the image on the plates nor the text. First Edition. Culver was a well-known naval historian as well as custodian and curator of the ship model collection of Colonel Rogers, an heir to the Standard Oil fortune who used his wealth to amass one of the best collections of the 20th century.
