About This Item

New York: Appleton-Century-Crofts, Meredith Corporation, 1969. Hardcover. xv, 319p., hardbound first edition in the publisher's series style (brick-red cloth boards with black cloth backstrip lettered gilt and white), in very good condition with just a touch of handling to the cloth spine. The Century psychology series. This cataloguer distrusted B.F.'s work until he met a fifty-year-old who had spent her childhood in a "skinner-box". She hadn't suicided, graduated Oxford, won Oxford's annual "sommelier contest" a couple years ago, and so..still had taste-buds too.
