About This Item

1695 Digby Bull anti Catholic Pope Treatises Church of England Protestant 3in1

A rare and relatively unknown collection of Catholic treatises by Digby Bull. These works discuss the fundamental doctrines of the Catholic Church. Bull was a cleric in the Church of England who wrote a collection of scripture commentaries in hopes of dissuading many who would convert to Catholicism in England. This late 17th-century work includes three works in Digby Bull including a letter he wrote to the Church of England warning them against the evils against the Protestant Church (notably the Catholic Church and the Popery).
