Peach coloured cloth-covered boards, gilt titles on spine. Heavily bumped spine ends. Slightly cocked. Couple of small stains on front board. Small water stain on bottom edge affecting half the pages, rear board and dust jacket. Pages tanning. Signed and inscribed on front free endpaper 'To ,Don McKay with many thanks for all the help you have given me over the years 24.11.'88 Kenneth Cork'. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has some shelf wear, light chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, price unclipped. 8vo. The story of a man courted by bankers, feared by swindlers, revered by lawyers, suspected by establishment accountants, trusted by trade unionists and called in to help out governments of more than one political tint.
