About This Item

Gagetown, N.B.: Queens County Historical Society & Museum, Inc., 1988 Book. Illus. by Myra D'aoust/Cheryl Bogart Dykeman. Very Good. Soft cover. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Original illustrated quarto softcover. A line-a-day diary of Samuel Hewlett Crawford (1861-1945). The rather pedestrian entries are accompanied by related drawings and colour photos of needlework pieces. Only three events beyond home at Upper Hampstead were worthy of Crawford's comment, one being the assassination of President McKinley in the United States. There are lots of names of friends and neighbours which are always of interest to genealogists. ISBN 0-9690893-4-1. 72 pp..
