Los Angeles: Wetzel Publishing Co, 1949. First Edition. First printing. Octavo (20cm). Maroon pebbled cloth hardcover; dustjacket; 87pp; frontispiece and four unnumbered leaves of double-sided photographic plates (halftones). Tight, clean, Near Fine copy. In the original dustwrapper, clipped by publisher on all four corners and without printed price; slightly edgeworn with several nicks and closed tears at margins; title hand-written on spine panel, Very Good.

Scarce account, by the prominent Custerian and western poet, of the government murder of Crazy Horse at Ft. Robinson, Nebraska in 1877. Brininstool based his history on eye-witness testimonies by Gen. Jesse Lee, V.T. McGillycuddy and others. MARKEN (Bibliography of the Sioux) 1734.
