New York: Harper & Brothers, 1956. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 234pp. Orange cloth, FIRST EDITION SIGNED. Corners rubbed, top edges stained, slight darkening to endpapers, occasional notes and underlining in text. Dustjacket is chipped, stained and underlined. There is a fascinating lengthy inscription, signed by the author, regarding a special invitation on the front free endpaper. The introduction is by Dione Lucas. The author was a first cousin of Theodore Roosevelt.
