About This Item

New York: Harper & Row, Publishers, 1962. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. Very Good in a Near Fine jacket, unclipped ($3.95), lightly bumped and rubbed at the edges, a small chip at the foot of the spine. Quarter brown cloth with lighter brown paper on the boards. Firmly bound with a slight forward lean, front endpaper a bit tender at the top-right corner from erasing, clean otherwise. Highsmith's thriller about a recently divorced "innocent Peeping Tom" and his troubled relationships. Adapted into the 2009 film of the same title starring Julia Stiles and Paddy Considine.
