Several fold-out pages. The book has a forward by A N Graham. In this book Ion Idriess has brilliantly accomplished the task he set himself and that was to explain to non-technical readers the action of chemicals in the complex process of recovering gold by cynanidation. Size: Octavo (standard book size). 270 pages. Some small smudged marks on several pages throughout and a gren-ink smudged maek on front free endpaper. Binding is tight but endpapers split along spine, both front and back, exposing the webbing. All pages intact and tight. Spine slightly cocked.. Faint foxing on inside covers and endpapers, text unfoxed. Dust jacket is a fasimile and is in very good condition . Dust Jacket un-clipped. Previous owner’s name in ink on inside front cover. Edges browned slightly. Boards are worn at top and bottom of spine, slight split on cloth on spine, fading on spine and rubbing on spine. Edgewear on boards and marks on boards. .
