Royal octavos.xii [4] 608pp, [6] 614-1136pp. Bound in 3/4 brown leather with marble boards, endpapers, and fore-edges. Illustrated with 24 portraits on steel and hundreds of wood engravings. ~ 3 cm closed tear to outer hinge of volume 2. Rubbing to outer hinges and edges of boards on both volumes. Internally nice.
