Glyn's mother, without means of support, took Elinor to live with her parents in Guelph, Ontario. She returned to Britain at the age of six to when her mother remarried. She was to become know for her "naughty" novels, and as a Hollywood scriptwriter. Her gretest Hollywood triumph being the the screen adaptation of her novella, "It".Everafter, Clara Bow, who played the novella's heroine , was referred to as "the It girl'. Size: 8 Vo.,.
