Collins, London & Glasgow, 1954, 1st thus., hardback with dust wrapper, VG/vg, boards blue/silver gilt with embossed publishers mark on front board, top edge blue, pen and ink frontispiece in addition to further pen and ink drawings throughout by Dodo Adler, 256 pp. Boards clean and firm, rubs to to spine tail, no inscription or annotations, sound tight binding, pages clean and bright. Wrapper and spine strip intact, quite grubby, rubs and bumps to edges and corners, 2cm open tear to front panel (see scan), several closed tears to top and bottom edges, now protected by acid-free archive film, price not clipped.
