Edinburgh: Privated printed by T. and A. Constable, 1890. 1st Edition . Good. 5.75 x 8.75 inches (14.5 x 22 cm). Privately published by the Rev Alexander Whyte of St. George's Free Church, Edinburgh. Maroon paper covered boards with illustrated panel to front board. Spine worn and cracked with some old repairs, boards have a few marks. Top page edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Maroon endpapers with gilt floral decoration. Some marking and occasional spots of foxing to text. Scarce work illustrated by Arts and Crafts artist Phoebe Anna Traquair. . Overall condition is Good.
