London, Macmillan & Co., 1957 1st edition. Hardback, approx 9 x 6 ins. Red cloth lettered in gilt on spine. Brown paper dustwrapper lettered in red. In very good condition with very good dustwrapper (DW darkened at spine, some rubbing and minor nicks to edges, in protective sleeve.) Cloth clean, some partial darkening to endpapers with neat inscription to front “Brian Chadwick”, else a very clean and tight copy. 481pp. With a b&w photo portrait and b&w diagrams in text.
