Fine in a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with light toning, fading to the spine and several short closed edge-tears with light associated creasing. The Nobel Prize-winning poet's first collection, comprised of sheets from the first English edition with a new title page.

Synopsis

Death of a Naturalist is a collection of poems written by Irish Nobel laureate Seamus Heaney. The collection was Heaney's second major published volume, and includes ideas which he had presented at meetings of The Belfast Group. It won the Cholmondeley Award, the Gregory Award, the Somerset Maugham Award, and the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize.
