New York; (1984): Beaufort Books. First Edition. Octavo. 283p. Advance uncorrected proof copy signed by the author. Scientist in a laboratory in Moscow accidently makes a genetic mutation that kills everything in sight. While the scientists responsible try to destroy the mutation, a group of men in from the Kremlin formulate another plan for it. At the same time, the United States leaks word to the Soviets of an ultimate weapon that does not exist. When the Russians hear of it, the death watch begins. Bound in green stiff paper wraps lettered in black, a near fine, sharp cornered copy.
