Comprehensive French-language work examines the interior décor of 18th century Paris and the surrounding Parisian region, most notably the carved wood paneling and painted panels that were prevalent in the interior design of that era. One volume of text; the other, plates. Two-volume Folio. 119 pp. + LXII Plates. Light blue cloth with leather labels on spine. Deaccessioned from Museum of Fine Arts Boston with internal stamps and markings ("Withdrawn" stamps inside book). Pages show a little foxing. All said, a solid reading and reference set.
