Mexico City: Editorial Popular, 1943. 38p., stapled wraps, 5.25x7.25 inches, evenly browned, wraps worn and soiled with a few small stains, staples rusted else very good condition. Text in Spanish. Only one in OCLC as of 10/2020. Montagnana was one of the founders of the Communist Party of Italy and lived in Mexico City from 1941 to 1946. Here he defends Vittorio Vidali, an Italian communist and Comintern operative involved in the assassination of Trotsky who had also been accused of involvement in the killing of Carlo Tresca. Includes a section on the death of Tina Modotti, in which Montagnana defends Vidali against charges by Trotskyists that he had murdered her.
