Fort Worth, TX: Smiths, Inc., 1952. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good-. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Author's first book. 596 pp. Crisp and clean copy. Slightly shaken. Black boards are bright - bumping on corners and on rear top edge near hinge. Pages are tanned. Dust jacket has chipping on corners and on spine ends. Top of spine has chipping loss up to 1/2". A little loss on bottom spine.Edges have some light creasing and small chips. 1/4" closed tear on top edge. Spine is darkened, and flap folds and hinges have rubbing. Light color of 4ear panel shows a few faint spots/discoloration. Now in protective cover.
