Henry Colburn & Co. London. 1857. NEW EDITION. Four volumes. 8vo. (7.6 x 5 inches). Portrait frontispieces in volumes one and two. A fine clean set in contemporary leather bindings of half plum morocco. Spines with raised bands, each with diagonal gilt bands. Compartments double ruled and lettered in gilt. Marbled paper on the boards. Marbled endpapers. Previous owners neat bookplate on the front paste down endpapers of each volume. All edges marbled. Some rubbing to the boards and all four spines showing uniform fading but still an attractive little set.
