The Japanese authors of this absorbing account were with the Naval Special Attack Force (Kamikaze) from its inception until its dissolution at the end of the war. Roger Pineau is a United States Naval Reserve Officer, who served in World War II. A sound, clean copy, with top edge stained black. Former owenrs has mounted original front and rear panels of dust-jakcet to paper backing and housed them in protectibe mylar covers. Title printed on spine in ded. Blurb from dust-jacket flap mounted onto front free endpaper. A professional endeavor, both attractive and utilitarian. A good+ copy in an interesting dust-wrapper--also in good+ or better condition. . First Edition. Hardcover. Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
