About This Item

UK,12mo wraps, paperback 1st edn.NFINE.No owner inscrptn,an unread copy.Colour pictorial art-work by Peter Elson, illustrated wraps; with negligible shelf-wear to edges - no nicks or tears present.Rear wrap has an accidental diagonal crease towards it's lower corner and some minor, light indentations/scoring to wrap.Top+fore-edges lightly aged/toned - as usual/normal - contents bright, tight and clean - no dog-ear reading creases to any pages' corners.
Original novel featuring the seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy and his companion Ace) from the series.
Initially a low print run,but one of the early titles in this series to be reprinted, and now out-of-print,and a scarce copy in it's first state/edn,and in this grade too.
In 1989,editor Peter Darvill-Evans finally gained permission from the BBC to develop a range of original novels featuring the 7th Doctor and his companion ACE.These were launched in 1991 to much acclaim, and carried on until the BBC opted not to renew their licence in 1996.The initial editor was Peter Darvill-Evans and he was joined by Rebecca Levene who eventually took over editing the range (around the release of 'Tragedy Day'),while assistant Simon Winstone joined towards the end of the range's life.
