Pictorial cover shows a knight on a horse with ornamentation in blue, white, black and brown color tones. Lettered on the cover and spine in black. Deckled foredge and foot. Red and black illustrated title page. Illustrated throughout with artwork by Walter Crane, including eleven full color plates, all present. Frontispiece is also a full color plate titled "Don Quixote Testing His Visitor" protected by a vellum leaf. Advertisements at the back. 245 pp. Wrapped in a plastic protective cover. Cover shows mild shelf ware. Spine is cocked. Leaves have toned with occasional foxing / discoloration throughout, primarily within endpapers. Illustrative plats are vivid, whimsical and delightful. Grey book, black print on the spine, print fading, white marking on the spine near the print, 245 pages, back inside cover shows where check out pocket was ripped out, paper residue on last page and front inside cover. Either first and last two pages are made of much darker paper or they have strong foxing. A few of the pages folded over on the top corner. The spine is rubbed on the sides and edges. The corners are bumped and rubbed and some of the color of the book is rubbed away on the back cover. The outside cover shows a great deal of wear. There are library markings in various places. There is a raised seal on the title page. Color illustrations..
