Colour frontispiece and B&W illustrations in text (including 4 full-paged) by Kurt Wiese. Original illustrated light green cloth with beige/brown illustrated endpapers; outline of dog illustration on front cover and black lettering on spine. Cloth is worn at lightly at spine and slightly more so at ends of spine. The ends of spine and corners are lightly bumped. The text block is clean and tight. A very copy. very good Pearl Zane Grey (January 31, 1872 Ñ October 23, 1939) was an American author best known for his popular adventure novels and stories that presented an idealized image of the Old West. 1928
