New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1953. First edition. Hardcover. Good +/good. SIGNED. 147pp. Octavo [24 cm] Green, blue, and white pictorial paper over boards. With rubbing to the extremities, tanned pages, and light damp stains in the lower fore edge margins of the pages. There are numerous large losses from the edges of the jacket, and the jacket has a couple of subtle moisture stains as well. Signed by William Steig on the front free endsheet.
