About This Item

[Berkeley: Spartacist League, 1975]. First Edition. Quarto (35cm.); side-stapled typescript leaves; [2],4pp. Previous horizontal fold, else Very Good and sound. First leaf of text a vitriolic attack on the Argentinian politician Juan Carlos Coral following an address delivered at UCLA. Among the questions posed by members of the League's youth section the Spartacus Youth League were why "The PST [Partido Socialista de los Trabajadores] pledged itself to 'fight for the continuity of' the Peronist government, when that government was itself backing the right-wing terror," to which Coral responded with "The most disgusting demagogery, evasion, slander and outright lies." The following two leaves of text (possibly issued separately?) titled "Spartacist League Defends Coral in Chicago Against Gusano Attacks! PST Betrays Argentine Working Class." Whether originally issued together or separately (the two are dated one day apart, March 14 and 15, 1975), neither title catalogued in OCLC as of September, 2019.
